Trouble is brewing in the galaxy. An ambitious and power-hungry Romulan named Caligula has stolen one of the recently perfected time-transporters in an attempt to finish what his predecessor and fellow Romulan, Nero, started: destroying all the Federation planets back in the time of the legendary Captain James T. Kirk and Spock. The United Federation of Planets (the Federation) has commission Starfleet to track down Caligula and his Romulan forces and stop him from changing the course of history. You are one of the Starfleet operatives.
(Note: this takes place a couple of centuries after Nero destroyed Vulcan and his attempt at destroying Earth)
