The Hollow Trials: A Spin-off of the Hunger Games

You live in Acirema, a nation that rose out of the chaos of the Third World War.It is a country with a omnipotent Capitol surrounded by 26 cautiously obedient Districts. An onlooker might think everything is all right almost like a utopia but it isn't. For less than a century, since Acirema's founding, the country has been led by the power hungry President Storm. He holds the power in the country like an iron fist. Early in the nation's history, there was the Rebellion. At first, it seemed as if the Districts would win, but they were swiftly defeated by President Storm's forces and District 26 was bombed and apparently wiped out. As punishment for their disobedience, President Storm forced the remaining 25 districts to sign the Treaty of Submission. One of the punishments involved a boy and girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each District sent to The Hollow Trials to fight to the death.
